I wish I could say it was signed by the author, but since that is next to impossible I'll just have to tell you that it is a darling, diminutive volume, only a few inches (approx. 6 1/8"x4") in length and width. It is perfect for slipping into your handbag.
So, do you agree with me that it is a sweet book and you must add it to your library? Fabulous! Let's get to work!

Something I've learned this summer...hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say learning how to be a better friend--both with people I've known and relationships I've had for ages, to interacting with new friends, to being an example and loving on littler kids.
Aannnd I would pretty much love to win that book. =) I adore Jane Austen, and her Northanger Abbey in particular.
~Jenn
The book looks darling! I have never read Northanger Abbey, and would love to do so!
ReplyDeleteSomething I've learned this summer? That time is exceedingly precious and must be used very wisely.
Can't wait to see who wins!
~Lauren
What have I learned this summer? A lot, but one of the best things is do not despise small things!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I would love this! <3
ReplyDelete..something I've learned so far this summer?? Oh, goodness..hmm. That friends are amazing! How about that? ;)
I would have to say that I have learned I can get by on less sleep than I used to--my body no longer protests in the way it did when I was a child.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have learned that I am actually not as good a multi-tasker as I used to think...and that I don't really like having to plan/think about multiple event/projects at once.
I have also learned that true friendships require effort--more than just a little too!
That's three things...hope that counts. Thanks for the post!
p.s. you know of course that I would totally link to your blog...if I had one of my own!
Hmmm...the thing that I've learned so far I would have to say. Would be how fast and wonderfully God can move.
ReplyDeleteI *love* Jane Austen's books!!
ReplyDeleteThis summer, I have learned what a gift it is to have friends. Life is short and very precious...we should treasure each and every day as though it is our last.
Thank you for the beautiful giveaway. :)
Much <3 in Christ,
Moriah
