To Read Or Not To Read...Read!

My sister and several other people have posted lists of their favorite books and movies of 2010, but as I have a horrible memory, and apparently didn't record reading more than eight books in that year, I will pass on that kind of post.

What I would like to post, however, is a list of books that I plan on reading in 2011.  Actually, I have set myself the goal of reading more than I apparently read in 2008, which according to my Goodreads account, was 65.  This list will help me get started.


  1. At Home in Mitford
  2. Foxe's Book of Martyrs
  3. Bleak House
  4. Design-it, Knit it
  5. Look Unto Me: The Devotions of Charles Spurgeon
  6. A Christmas Carol
  7. Nickolas Nickelby
  8. Oliver Twist
  9. The Mystery of Edwin Drood

Finally, here are a few that I need to finish (and will probably count as books that I read in 2011. Hehe!).

  • Journey to the Center of the Earth
  • Sweater Quest
  • A Tale of Two Cities
  • Unveiling Islam

As I said, this is just a start.  I have a lot of reading to do!

    Ohhhh, I am reading "A Tale of Two Cities" RIGHT NOW! Unabridged, of course. ;) I plan on reading as many classics as I possibly can this year. It's exciting!~
